I GOT A TICKET, WHAT DO I DO NOW?
If you got a ticket in San Francisco and want to take the Traffic101.com course, you should wait to receive
the “Courtesy Notice” from the court. This courtesy notice will tell you if you are eligible to take traffic
school. Let the court know that you will be taking the Traffic101.com online traffic school for this ticket.
You will be required to pay the court for the ticket amount and a non-refundable “traffic school fee.”
When the court receives payment, they will send you a list of approved online traffic schools
(Traffic101.com is on there!) and a due date by which you must complete your course. Then click on
Register Now, to begin!
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
San Francisco court requires that all traffic schools including Traffic101.com have their certificates of
completion processed by an independent company called
National Traffic
Safety Administration (NTSA) NTSA will email your certificate directly to the court for you. NTSA sends
all completion certificates to the courts electronically by email every day. You will have the opportunity to
print out a confirmation of completion page at the end of the final exam. You will also receive a confirmation
email stating that your certificate was emailed to the court.
Note: It is the
student’s responsibility to contact the court after 10-14 days from the day they completed
the online traffic school course. If 10-14 days have passed and the court has not received the certificate,
please contact NTSA (
www.ntsa.us) and they will resend the certificate
to the court.
