Different states have come up with different names for basically the same thing – a course designed to teach defensive driving skills to licensed drivers who have gotten a traffic ticket. Depending on the state, these courses can be taken for ticket dismissal, point reduction, or insurance discount.
Click on Course Price and Details to get the details for
your court. Carefully read all the information on the Course Price and Details
page. It will tell you all you need to know about the specific requirements of
your court. Then register for the appropriate traffic school course by entering
all your information including your driver’s license and citation numbers. Once
you successfully register, you will immediately be able to start your traffic
school course!
Although Traffic101.com® does not a have a formal agreement with your court you can still take our traffic school course if you get special permission from the judge or court clerk.
It is your responsibility to make sure you can take our online traffic school course. We will not be able to issue a refund on any course once you have completed the final exam.
Yes. You can do your traffic school from any computer that has an Internet connection. And since all your work is saved on Traffic101.com® servers, you can change computers if you need.
When you login to the course you will see the Control Panel page. Click on the button labeled Edit Profile, which will allow you to make the necessary changes. Be sure to make the necessary changes before completing the course. Not doing so may cause your certificate to be delayed or lost.
The length of the traffic school course depends on the requirements of your court or state. Our courses are never longer than what is required by your state or court. And since you can do the course at your own pace, on your own time, it’s really up to you how long it takes you to complete.
The fee you paid to the court was a court-imposed non-refundable administrative fee for allowing you to take traffic school. Traffic101.com® and all other traffic schools have their own fees separate from the court’s fees.
Yes! For most courts you can start the course before paying for it.
For those courts that do require you to pay upfront, you can still get a full refund if you have not completed the final exam. You can request a refund by emailing us or by calling (800) 373-7313.
Yes. Your credit card is sent to us using the most advanced encryption methods available. This means that information is scrambled while in transit (so that hackers can’t understand it)
and put back together only when it reaches its destination. However, if you prefer, you can make a payment over the phone by calling Traffic101.com® customer service department at (800) 373-7313.
You can request a full refund at any time before completing the final exam. Once you’ve completed the final exam, an official certificate of completion is generated, and absolutely no refunds will be granted.
Yes. You must complete the course within 180 days of your enrollment date. Any student that has not completed the course within 180 days will be
terminated without notice and will not be eligible for a refund. But more importantly, you have to
complete the course by your due date. If you do not, the court may not accept your certificate of
completion.
For most courts we offer same day certificate processing and mailing when you complete the traffic school course by 2pm (PST) on regular business days (Monday through Friday excluding holidays).
Check Course Price and Details page to see if your court qualifies for same day processing.
Unless you request otherwise, your certificate will be mailed via regular First Class Mail through the USPS. Delivery time is estimated at 1-3 days, but not guaranteed. Express and tracking delivery options are available for an additional
fee. You are given the option to choose the shipping method before taking the final exam. If you are pressed for time, we recommend that you choose a shipping method that offers tracking.
Most courts require that we send the certificate of completion to you so that you can sign it before submitting it to them. However, there are some courts that allow the certificate to be sent
directly to the court. Check Course Price and Details for your court’s mailing requirements.
It depends on the court. Certain courts regularly allow us to fax or email certificates directly to them. Most courts do not accept anything other than a paper certificate.
Check Course Price and Details to see your court's requirements.
First, you can call the court to request an extension. Many courts offer free extensions. Second, you can have your certificate sent via FedEx?. You will
